I've always hated these things - "tell us a bit about yourself" - I always get bogged under and have to resist the urge to write something like "I'm just me"... However, I recognise that this is not the best of things to say - it is supremely unhelpful, and I'm fairly convinced it is the infantile side of myself which wishes to say it - so I'll give it a try this time. So - who am I? I'm currently 23 (in early May 2007), female and engaged to a lovely bloke called Matt. I went to Aberystwyth Uni, but never bothered to get my degree - it hasn't hampered me at all, I'm now doing really well in accounts and working towards becoming a proper accountant. I regret not getting my degree, but know that the course I was doing was copmpletely wrong for me and I just wasn't interested, so it was a good choice in the long run. I only wish I had been given better career advice while I was in school. I don't regret going to Uni, as that was where I met Matt, and made a lot of friends and learned a few valuble lessons. I do regret the amount of debt I am still in, 4 years after I left.... What my journal is about? Knowing me, this will be fairly random, and not regularly updated, but will be done in spurts. The subjects will no doubt range from games to dreams, from politics to TV programs, so anything which interests me. I am highly opinionated, which you will no doubt guess after reading a bit of this, but I do listen to other people's views and accept them as valid, even if I do argue them and don't change my own views. I also enjoy playing devils advocate, so not all the views I express will be my own - why spoil a good argument by stating at the beginning that you both agree with each other? If one of you takes the other side you can learn more about your beliefs and why you have them than you could otherwise.
